Before beginning your sessions, your therapist will provide you with a consent form that explains the nature of therapy, the scope of services, and important considerations around confidentiality and safety. This ensures that you understand what therapy involves and gives you the chance to ask questions or raise any concerns before we start. Your informed consent is an ongoing process, meaning you are encouraged to revisit, question, and reaffirm your comfort at any point during your journey with us.

If at any time a client engages in inappropriate, threatening, or unsafe behavior including but not limited to indecent or disrespectful conduct, the therapist has the right to immediately withdraw services. Our aim is always to preserve therapy as a safe, respectful, and supportive space for both client and therapist.
We want you to feel empowered, supported, and safe as we walk alongside you, never pressured or unheard. By beginning therapy with us, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms & Conditions, and understand that they may be updated over time as part of our ongoing commitment to offering the highest quality care.

Each therapist may use different methods and techniques, and these are tailored to your unique goals, needs, and preferences. While we will always strive to provide compassionate, effective support, it's important to know that therapy is not a quick fix, but rather a process that unfolds gradually. Our services are designed specifically for adults aged 18 and above. By using our platform and booking a session, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and capable of providing informed consent for therapy. This ensures that we can offer you the most appropriate support and maintain compliance with professional and legal standards.
We do not provide therapy for children or adolescents under 18 years. If you are under 18 and seeking support, we gently encourage you to reach out to a parent, guardian, or a trusted adult who can help you access the right resources for your needs. By engaging with our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and take responsibility for providing accurate information about your age and eligibility.
In certain situations, it may be helpful or necessary to transfer your care to another therapist within our network or to refer you to an external professional or service better suited to your needs. This could happen, for example, if your therapist is unavailable for an extended period, if your needs fall outside their area of expertise, or if you request a change.
We will always seek your consent before making such a transfer or referral, and will ensure that your transition is handled with sensitivity and respect. Your comfort and continuity of care are our priorities, and no transfer will take place without your agreement.
The fee per session varies depending on the therapist selected, and the applicable fee will be displayed at the time of booking.
Therapy sessions are scheduled in advance to ensure your therapist can dedicate their full attention to you during your chosen time.
Bookings can be made through our secure scheduling system, and confirmation will be sent once your slot is reserved. Bookings are confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis and depend on therapist availability.
All sessions must be paid for in advance to confirm your booking. Your session booking(s) will not be confirmed until the payment has been successfully received by us.
This allows us to hold your slot exclusively for you and to keep scheduling fair for all clients. Payment options and details will be provided during the booking process.
We understand that life is unpredictable, and sometimes plans change. Our Cancellation Policy governs all cancellations, reschedules, and no-show situations. By booking a session, you agree to be bound by the terms of that policy.
Clients may book individual sessions or purchase session packages of 4 or 6 sessions. These are designed to encourage consistency and ongoing progress in therapy.
Packages must be used with the same therapist to ensure continuity of care. All packages are valid for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase. Any unused sessions after this period will automatically expire and cannot be refunded, extended, or transferred.
Packages are non-transferable and cannot be shared between clients.
Therapy is a highly individual process, and the number and frequency of sessions will vary depending on your goals, progress, and circumstances. Your therapist may recommend a certain frequency (such as weekly or biweekly sessions), but the final decision is always yours.
Some clients may benefit from only a few sessions focused on specific concerns, while others may find longer-term therapy more supportive. We encourage you to discuss your needs openly with your therapist so that together, you can decide on a plan that feels right for you.
Each standard therapy session is scheduled for 60 minutes. This provides ample time for meaningful exploration and reflection while maintaining healthy boundaries. There is no fixed obligation, and you are free to continue or discontinue therapy at your own pace.
Our platform is created to provide you with safe and reliable access to therapy services. By using it, you agree to do so only for your personal well-being and not for commercial purposes or unauthorized sharing. This means respecting the intellectual property of our platform, not recording or distributing sessions without consent, and using the space responsibly.
When registering and engaging with the platform, you confirm that the personal data you provide are accurate and truthful, and you agree to keep this information up to date. You will use the platform and services only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms & Conditions. You also affirm that you are not located in a country outside India.
We ask that you treat your therapist and our staff with the same respect and kindness you deserve to receive in return. Any form of misuse, abuse, or harmful conduct on the platform will not be tolerated and may lead to termination of services. This helps keep the environment safe and welcoming for all clients.

All therapists and mental health professionals available through Venthrapy provide their services as independent practitioners. They are not employees, representatives, or agents of Venthrapy. Our platform serves as a bridge, connecting you with qualified professionals, but each therapist remains solely responsible for the care, treatment, and professional advice they provide.
This means that while we strive to work only with competent, ethical, and licensed practitioners, Venthrapy does not supervise their clinical judgment or guarantee specific therapeutic outcomes. Any concerns about the quality of care or professional conduct should be addressed directly with your therapist. In cases of misconduct or unlawful actions, accountability rests solely with the individual therapist.
We value the trust you place in us and are committed to safeguarding your personal information. To ensure transparency, we maintain a separate Privacy Policy, which explains in detail how your data is collected, used, stored, and protected. It also outlines your rights under applicable data protection laws.

Confidentiality is a shared responsibility. While we commit to safeguarding what you share in therapy, we also ask that you respect the privacy of the therapeutic process. All materials on our platform, including written resources, images, and session content, are protected by intellectual property laws. They are for your personal use and cannot be copied, modified, or redistributed without our permission. This helps us maintain the integrity of the resources and ensures that they are used in the way they were intended.
If you choose to share content with us, such as feedback, testimonials, or creative input, you give us permission to use this (in a respectful, anonymized way if necessary) to improve our services or share the positive impact of therapy. We will never disclose personal details without your explicit consent, and your privacy will always remain a top priority.
Therapy is a supportive and potentially life-changing process, but it is not a guarantee of specific results. Each person's journey is unique, and progress depends on many factors including your personal circumstances, commitment, and readiness. While our therapists are trained professionals who will do their best to support you, we cannot promise particular outcomes.
Venthrapy provides a platform to connect clients with independent mental health professionals. These therapists, counsellors, psychiatrists, or wellness experts are not employees, agents, or representatives of Venthrapy. They practice in their individual professional capacity, and Venthrapy does not assume liability for their advice, conduct, or actions.
Our services are not designed for individuals in acute crisis, emergency situations, or those experiencing active suicidal thoughts or severe psychiatric emergencies. If you are in such a situation, we strongly urge you to immediately contact your nearest emergency helpline, hospital, or crisis intervention service. Venthrapy is not an emergency service and does not replace urgent medical or psychiatric care.
While we make every effort to ensure that the Website/Platform functions smoothly and reliably, Venthrapy does not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or freedom from technical issues. Temporary disruptions, server outages, internet connectivity problems, or software glitches may occasionally occur. Venthrapy is not responsible for any loss, delay, inconvenience, or inability to access services caused by such technical issues or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Venthrapy shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform, reliance on therapy services, or inability to access services.
Nothing in this clause is intended to exclude or limit any rights you may have under applicable law that cannot be excluded or limited by agreement.
By using our services, you accept that therapy is a process of shared responsibility, your therapist will guide and support, while you play an active role in your growth.
These Terms, together with related policies and disclaimers, form the full agreement between you and us (including, but not limited to, any prior versions of the Terms of Service), creating clarity for our shared journey.
You are free to end your therapy with us at any time. Should you decide to stop, we ask that any outstanding fees be settled first. If you wish, you may also request the deletion of your personal data in line with our Privacy Policy and legal obligations.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate services if there is a breach of these Terms & Conditions, misuse of the platform, or conduct that compromises the safety of the therapy space. Any such decision will be taken with fairness and clear communication.
By using Venthrapy's services, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Venthrapy, its founders, directors, employees, affiliates, and partners from and against any claims, demands, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) that arise from:
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Subject to the arbitration clause above, any disputes that require legal intervention will fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Delhi.
In the unlikely event that a concern cannot be resolved through our grievance process, both you and we agree to attempt to resolve the matter amicably by way of good faith negotiations. If the issue remains unresolved, it will be referred to binding arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The arbitration will be conducted by a sole arbitrator mutually appointed by both parties. The seat and venue of arbitration shall be New Delhi, India, and the proceedings will take place in English. The arbitral award shall be final and binding on the Parties.
By agreeing to these Terms & Conditions, you acknowledge and accept arbitration as the primary means of dispute resolution, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
You agree that Venthrapy as a platform cannot be held liable for any criminal, unlawful, or unethical actions committed independently by therapists or mental health professionals associated with it. Any such acts are the sole responsibility of the individual therapist involved, and appropriate legal action should be pursued against them directly. Venthrapy's role is limited to providing access to independent therapists, and while we uphold professional standards, we cannot assume liability for individual misconduct.
